Geeky Student who loves to hang out and have fun!
I am a total geek/nerd who enjoys just hanging out. I am very "straight-acting" and tend to shock people when I tell them I am gay. I have no fashion sense and wear hiking boots everywhere because not only am I clueless as to which shoes match which belt, hiking boots are pretty much standard attire for geologists. As a geek, I am very absorbed in the fantasy and sci-fi worlds, but I try not to lose contact with reality. I like to think I am artistic and can express myself well, typically in writing more so than visually/verbally. I enjoy learning about the world around me, education is key to most things. I am a scientist at heart even though I have artistic yearnings. I love to think philosophically as well. As expected, I stay indoors more than I should, so I am out of shape and always have been. I am trying to lose weight and bulk up some muscle but am fighting an uphill battle against stubborn genetics and 20 years of little exercise. People say I am fun to hang out with and have a lot to talk about, but I get silly and far more entertaining when people come over for a few drinks. Apparently I invent new levels of fun. Awesome.
